Overview Of The Work Done Thus Far

The DBSP has been operative in Sudan since November, 2009. Thus far DBSP programs have been run in Southern Sudan, in Malakal

To the end of December, 2009 the following has been accomplished:

• Run 1 DBSP program.
• Trained 22 people to start up and run their own business.
• Set up the nucleus of a DBSP team, that is currently following up the students trained on the 1st DBSP Programme

The Humanitarian International Services Group (HISG) is a Community Development Organisation. They are a strategic partner of the DBSP, who are responsible for introducing the DBSP to Sudan and for raising the funds for the DBSP to train in Sudan. To visit their website www.hisg.org click here.
